Teams 2026
10 incredible teams have been selected to compete at this year's Snowfest, showcasing their unique skills and creativity in transforming massive blocks of snow into breathtaking works of art. Representing countries from across the globe, these teams bring diverse perspectives, rich cultural influences, and years of experience to the competition. Let's meet the teams whose stories we know so far.

Team USA-France
This duo combines talent from both sides of the Atlantic. Anna began her snow sculpting journey in 2004 and was later joined by Ben Barreau in 2015. The team belongs to top 3 of Nallikari Snowfest 2025.
Together, they have sculpted in international competitions across Switzerland, Sweden, and Canada, earning a reputation for their innovative designs and exceptional craftsmanship.

Team Poland
Pair of sculptors from Poland who have been sculpting the snow since graduating. Plotr's preferred material is ice and Lucyna's is sand. They hope that they will fall in love with Finnish snow while capturing the most beautiful art By the Sea.

Team Turkey
Erhan, Zafer and Mehmet are the faculty members at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Usak University from Turkey. For many years they have been creating snow sculptures both in Turkey and abroad. In 2025 they were awarded first place in the public vote in Grindelwald.
Team Czech Republic
Meet the winner team of Nallikari Snowfest 2025!
This team is a family, consisting of a father, son, and the son's girlfriend who have been collaborating on snow sculptures since 2011. Their strong bond and shared creative vision result in cohesive, imaginative designs that captivate audiences.

Team Finland
The International Snowdrop Collective is a snow and ice art group founded in 2019 in Rovaniemi, Finland, by Miia Mäkinen, Johanna Kurpat, and Henna Timlin. Since its inception, the collective has created stunning snow and ice art for private events, public festivals, and international competitions.

Team Austria
Team Austria consist of Nicole and Rebecca, two sculptors who met through their shared passion for the art world. last year Nicole and Rebecca participated together in a snow festival and since then they have been dedicated creating more works with ice and snow together.

Team Spain
Emiliano, Josu and Dario makes the team of Spain! Emiliano is stone and snow sculptor and has worked as a sculture teacher for 30 years. Josu is an architecht who is designer of the project. Dario is a graphic designer who is living and working in Belgium.
This team was born as a special under special activities and under pedagogic program. Ovet the years program has created over 40 snow sculptures around the world!

Team Germany
Vanessa, Lea and Lisbet are the team of the professional wood sculptors who comes to build some snow and art to Nallikari Snowfest 2026! Vanessa has taken part of Klausberg Ice games contest held in South Tyrol in 2024. Now they are ready to build art By the Sea!
Team Estonia
Estonian team consists of 3 members: Andres Rattasepp, Enriko Saar and Stefani Freitok. The team who belongs the top 3 of Nallikari SnowFest 2025!
All three of them are students in the sculpture department of Pallas University of Applied Sciences. They are also connected by a great inspiration to create sculptures out of snow and the Nallikari Snow Fest gives them another great opportunity to do so. They are full of eagerness and we will definitely give the best.

Team Canada
Team of three women from Canada; Kris, Niki and Ruth! They are experienced carvers and have travelled widely to participate together in snow carving events in North America and in Europe. They have all lived in Yellowknife NT Canada where the winter is long and the snow is perfect for sculpting. Ruth and Kris recently moved to UK but the hobby is still going strong!
